Particularly successful in wood and bronze, M.'s "realism" was realized in an expressionistic vision, with the pictorial values of the forms often accentuated by cuts and lacerations, in the ability to dominate and at the same time exalt the material. Among his works: monuments to the partisan woman (Venice, 1964), to the Resistance (Belluno, 1967), for Vittorio Veneto (Vittorio Veneto, 1967), to the Resistance (Cansiglio, Belluno, 1970).
