The entire work is inspired by the floral taste introduced by Biedermeier. The shape reminds us of a lush plant and accompanies the splendid decoration depicting a composition of splendid flowers. The golden decoration frames and enhances the shape and the subject.
These vases were dedicated to decorating the surfaces of consoles, sideboards and chests of drawers; therefore, being leaning against the wall, they do not show any particular decoration on the back.
