Furini's pictorial style was characterized by a soft and sensual painting, which shines through in the subjects of his paintings taken from the Bible and mythology, standing out in female nudes for the development of a unique form of ideal of classicist "beauty", characterized by soft and round lines, especially in the depiction of the female nude; according to his scheme for a sensual and psychological painting, with captivating attractions that had seduced Florence in the second quarter of the 17th century.
His early works show Roman and Bolognese influences; later his style became soft and shaded, with depictions of nudes and sensual female figures adapted in the guise of saints or allegories, of statuary beauty, highly appreciated.
