C.I.A. Manna
Polychrome Turin ceramics from the 30s/40s. Brand on the base: C.I.A. MANNA Turin n. 420.
Measurements: h 44 cm
Towards the end of the Twenties, the ceramicist Manna was hired as a plasticizer and decorator for the production of artistic ceramics at the "Lenci" manufacture in Turin, owned by Helen Konig Scavini. Like other employees of the glorious Turin factory in the early Thirties, she abandoned "Lenci", now in deep economic difficulties, and opened her own laboratory in Turin called "C.I.A" (Ceramica Italiana Artistica). From the "C.I.A." ovens come high quality products such as: vases, ornaments, graceful statuettes and female figurines, in imitation of the ceramics of the "Lenci" company.
