Long inspired by the countryside around Florence and the heart of Chianti, he immortalized in his canvases evocative scenes of rural life and that ancient civilization in the style of his Macchiaioli predecessors. A pure "plein air" painter, it is not difficult to meet him along the roads of the lush hills of Tuscany and in particular in the area dear to him of Valdarno.
