Period: Early 19th century French manufacturing pendulum clock in chiseled and gilded bronze and cut crystal. Restoration period and style, 1815-30. Exceptional watch inserted in a grinded and polished crystal case. Grinding is reconstituted by observing the light parallel grooves visible in oblique light. Author Lepaute. The sober and essential bronze decoration emphasizes the slender profile, accentuating the elegance of the vase. The figures are made in caboscion enamel.
